The Brief
We were thrilled to partner with Mat Ishbia and Player 15 Group, owner and operator of the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury, to help bring their newest corporate office to life alongside the Phoenix Mercury’s new practice facility in Phoenix.
At the heart of the project, we designed and built an elevated, museum-inspired installation celebrating the history, culture, and legacy of the Phoenix Suns. Positioned as the first experience employees and guests encounter when entering the space, the display brings together Western Conference championship trophies, more than 100 player-worn shoes, specialized collectibles and memorabilia, and an integrated LED display—all within one cohesive architectural statement.
The collaboration was fast, highly focused, and incredibly rewarding. From concept through fabrication and installation, the project moved at an aggressive pace, requiring quick decisions, constant collaboration, and precise execution to deliver a finished experience worthy of the organization and its history.
This one was especially meaningful for us. With WAYLA headquartered in Phoenix and our team growing up as diehard Suns fans, having the opportunity to help tell the story of our hometown team was more than just another project—it was personal. Working alongside Player 15 Group to create a lasting piece of the Suns’ next chapter was an experience we won’t soon forget.
